Scott Robertson is a distinguished musician based in Metro Vancouver, celebrated for his exceptional talent as a drummer, bandleader, educator, and clinician. With a career spanning several decades, Scott has led acclaimed ensembles such as the Scott Robertson Trio and Swing Patrol, captivating audiences at renowned venues including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Massey Theatre, and the Surrey Arts Centre. His signature style blends technical precision with soulful expression, making him a sought-after performer for both public events and private affairs.
Beyond the stage, Scott has made a lasting impact as an educator operating his own “Robertson Drum School” in Langley, BC. His musical journey also includes a notable career in pipe band drumming and has delivered clinics and workshops across North America. He’s performed with top-tier groups like the Triumph Street Pipe Band—awarded best drum corps at the 1979 World Pipe Band Championship. For the past 20 years he has coached youth bands and drummers for the SFU Pipe Band Organization, (RMM Pipe Band). Scott’s passion for music and deep-rooted professionalism continueto shape the soundscape of Western Canada’s live music scene.
